Then, unless you have a back up that includes those messages, they are gone. Note that, if you restore from a back up, anything you've added to the phone since the back up was made will be deleted.

I Am not sure on the backup since I did it on phone could it still be on ipad?

The back up for your phone would not be on the phone or the iPad. It would be either in iCloud or in iTunes on your computer.

If you're asking if your messages could still be on your iPad, only you would know that. Check your iPad and see.
