My (new) mobile number is not reflected in the send and receive for imessage and even in facetime

I got new sim for my iphone. But i cannot activate my imessage and Facetime. And the new number is not listed in the "send and receive" in imessage and facetime

Hi

Go to settings down to second phone icon click on then my number top of page change number to correct one.

yes, I tried that already. but still, it was not shown in the "send & receive" in imessage and facetime
