Caps lock is stuck on, iPad Pro, Smart Keyboard, iOS 9.3.1

This just started recently, my iPad Pro (12.9) continually gets stuck with the caps lick frozen, and clicking on the caps lock key does not unlock it.

some observations (not hard facts, but close)

-it seems to have started with ios 9.3.1

-it happens about 1/3 the time when I enter an app, email and message mostly

-it can SOMETIMES be fixed by multi tasking in and out of the app, and then trying again

-it happens much more often when I have a split screen open

-it seems to have started at the same time that another bug happens, where I cannot type at all in the same situations. The remedy is the same: close the app and go back in, detach and reattach the keyboard, or multitask out and back into the app.

all of the remedies are hit or miss.

Anyone else see this? thoughts?

Hi,

Update your iPad to iOS 9.3.2 then see if the problem persists.

Settings > General > Software Update

literally had the same problem 5 seconds a go and i went and see if the shift key was stuck and it wasn't but i found a small hair there lodged in it so take close look and see if something is stuck there or something

I am at 9.3.2, when I log into post this, it ONLY gives me the option to select 9.2 for whatever reason. I am at the latest. 9.3.1 i think is what started this issue.

I have this problem as well, it is making me nuts. Sick of backspacing and playing around to get the caps lock to unstick.

i have this as well. which means you have to constantly disconnect the iPad from the Smart Keyboard. I'm on hold with Apple Support for this challenge is frustrating.

This may be a Shift key challenge and not the Cap Lock.... still talking with Apple Support... It appears to be the Shift Key that is locking which is a hardware challenge. Going into a Genuis Bar to have it replaced.
