Q: Is this a startup problem?

My mac starts as normal, until about halfway through the loading bar, it changes to a grey screen and two alternating images of what appears to be some instruction and a green switch with an arrow. I've tried multiple times to reboot in various modes and nothing is working.  Can you guys help me?image.png

    Turn over your mouse, take off the metal cover, install 2 AA batteries. Oh wait, the image was small. That looks like it's telling you the optical lens is dirty, clean with a soft cloth. EDIT: Or, perhaps that you just have to turn it on.
