( MBP-13 ) Win-10 performs better than OS-X

Hello,

I have a Mid-2012 MBP 13 non-retina upgraded with 16gb. of ram and 500gb. Samsung Evo 850 SSD.

I have is configured with bootcamp and dual boot of OS-X and MS-Windows-10

(2) 250gb. partitions. One for OS-X and One for Windows-10

I ran some benchmarks and it appear that MS-Windows-10 performs better on the Macbook than OS-X

MS-Windows-10 appears to be managing the hardware resources better on the Macbook than OS-X

Sierra Update:

With MacOS Sierra Apple has made some performance improvements however MS-Windows-10 still performs better on a MacBook Pro than OS-X. If only Microsoft would get its apps to work correctly then Microsoft would be best. However after working with both OS's on the same MBP for over a Year. I can say that apps on OS-X is more reliable and stable than MS-Windows-10. With apps and OS stability.

So these benchmarks don't really mean much since MS-Windows-10 apps do not operate well.

Hardware Upgrade:

16gb. of Crucial ram is very stable. No problems.

Samsung Evo 850 500gb. SSD is very stable and reliable. No problems.

I have heard that the Samsung Evo SSD is not supported in OS-X and maybe unreliable , However I have had not problems with it so far. I have taken precautions and made a back up of my drives.

If it does fail I will use a "Crucial MX300" SSD instead.

However as to date I have had no problems with it in the MBP 13 mid-2012

Have been using the Samsung Evo SSD for over a year now.

Macbook Pro mid-2012 is Rock Solid !....I Have had no problems since the hardware upgrades. Dual boot boot camp has worked flawlessly. I have done direct upgrades from Yosemite to El Capitan to Sierra. has work flawlessly.

All Windows-10 updates have worked flawlessly. To my surprise. I did not expect this dual boot MBP to be reliable. It is my most reliable computer.

( MBP-13 ) Win-10 performs better than OS-X
