Q: Trackpad not working properly after upgrading to El Capitan

Dear Apple

 

i upgraded my Imac to El Capitan latest update.

the trackpad wont allow me to use gestures properly and double click and so on.

I changed the batteries, restarting and i even bought a new trackpad

 

the imac keeps searching for trackpad

 

Help me please

    Did you buy a new track pad or another trackpad.   The difference is, if you bought a new one from an official source the box would be marked with the message 'for use with El Capitan.    If it was 'another' track pad it could be second hand or old stock.   Check the box.
