HELP! My screen is locked showing the USB cable and iTunes logo. What can I do to get it working again?

My iPhone 6 has shut down on its own several times now, and I had been able to get it back up and running for a few minutes each time. However, now it only shows a USB cable with an arrow pointing up to the iTunes logo. What can I do to get it back up and running?
