Q: Artists out of order. Solutions?

I just added new music to my iPod Touch 3rd gen. and all of the artists scrambled and are out of order. Is there a solution to this problem?

Without a few more details I'd suspect inconsistent use of Sort Artist or Sort Album Artist. See Grouping tracks into albums for general advice.
