My Iphone is saying my text messages are not sent but the people i am sending them to are getting 3 or 4 of the same message that isnt sent on my phone. any help?

Do you have multiple devices setup for your iMessage service? I'm not saying that you shouldn't, but understanding the answer to this question can help me determine if the troubleshooting I am thinking of is worth explaining or if it's irrelevant.

Okay then, I am glad I asked. Have you tried toggling iMessage off in Settings>Messages yet to see if the issue persists while only using SMS or if it is only relevant when iMessage is toggled on? If you haven't, try that out, close the app out of app switcher by double clicking the home button and swiping up on the messages app till is disappears, then restart your iPhone and test this. If it doesn't show the same message, toggle iMessage back on and see if it remains that way or if it comes back. You can reset network settings as well to potentially troubleshoot this, but it may not be relevant depending on the results of these suggestions.
