Jun 10, 2016 8:40 PM in response to ddillardby appreciate,After deleting the corrupted plist from preferences folder into the trash, it is compulsory to first restart the system from apple logo and then empty the trash .
If the trash is not emptied it will remain in system , by doing so a fresh new plist will be recreated once again .
