How to delete selected colors from character fill colors table

Hmm. I got to this screen to post questions to pages for Mac, but it looks different than what I've seen in the past. So, hopefully I'm at the right place. Over time I have selected certain colors from the color popup in character fill and saved them. I attempted to change a color by changing opacity. Then I attempted to save that changed color to the rows at the bottom of the popup. It didn't work. I should have saved the color that appears in the larger square to the left. Anyway my question is how do I remove these incorrect colors from that rows at the bottom.

I know this makes little sense so I have attached the screen shot I'm talking about. I want to delete the three red squares two on to row and one on bottom row all in the middle of the screen.

HI ehw,

It's the right place. It underwent extensive design changes overnight.

don't think you can 'delete' the colours you places in the custom palette, but you can easily replace them using the same method as used the first time:

Set up the colour using the colour space or the sliders, then drag from the large box and drop on the colour you want to replace.

Here I've replaced two reds with white.

Interesting change in the colour of the header between the two images. Both are screen shots, the left one using shift-control-command-4 then pasted from the clipboard to an empty page in Pages, the on the right is the actual color palette. Both were then taken with shift-command-4 to maks a file which was then inserted here.

Curious.

Barry
