I searched the itunes store for tones. Found one I liked and bought and downloaded it. It is in itunes but I can not get it to work as a ringtone.
How do I get it to work?
1. Connect your iPhone to your computer iTunes.
2. Mark the ringtone on iTunes and do a sync.
Sorry I should mentioned that I can not connect this phone to a computer.
I bought a ringtone it should work as a ringtone.
Well the ringtones from iTunes Store are for iPhone, it doesn't work otherwise.

You should have stated that in the first place.
Check your iPhone's
Settings > Sounds > Ringtone > select the tone you've downloaded here.
Its not there.
If you directly bought ringtone using your iPhone, then it should be there.
