I just got a stainless sport 42MM and have spent most of the day getting it set up and exploring. On several of the faces, notably the Utility and Mickey Mouse faces, there is a line of text at the bottom that says "NO MORE EVENTS". I can't find any information on what this is or how to make it go away.

You are referring to the Calendar watch face complication, which displays that text when there are no upcoming scheduled events.
To choose a different complication for that location on the watch face, follow the instructions here:
Hi Jonathan, thanks very much for that link. That was exactly what I needed. I never use the Calendar on any of my devices so I was dreading having that stare back at me every time I looked at my watch. Some of the things to replace it looked pretty interesting but for right now I just want it blank so I can enjoy the face and get used to the watch.
