Q: weak connection on i pad

all Wi-Fi devices work OK with my Verizon router. I pad will only work in same room as router. Tried resetting router, turned up brightness, reset wifi,booted unit ,hard and soft, cleaned out safari. Changed rooms and I pad will connect with my AC unit. I pad works with in other homes when supplied with password. Apply store technician said my I pad is OK.Where do I go from here other than buying a new one. unit is a I pad 2 64K

iPad, iOS 9.3.2, md515md/a is the model number

Hi ..

Buying a new iPad doesn't guarantee that will fix a Wi-Fi issue.

If you haven't tried this yet ..

Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings

You will have to go back into Settings > General > Wi-Fi and re entire your Wi-Fi password.

If that didn't help, try here > If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t connect to a Wi-Fi network

Sorry Carolyn,that didn't work.my other mini I Pad works fine,laptop also works OK. I Pad still only picks router less than 10 feet away.I change rooms an it sees my AC wi fi thermostate and losses communication with wifi router.
