Q: Can't add music to iphone.

I just cancelled the free trial for apple music, but still not able to sync music to my iphone.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.2

If you want to sync music to your phone using iTunes, you have to turn iCloud Music Library off as well in Settings -> Music.

It would help tremendously if you indicated what happens when you attempt to sync music to your phone. That would be an important indicator.

Sorry about that.

It says the iphone is subscribed to icloud and the option where you can "manually manage music and videos" it only says "manually manage videos"

If you are using a Mac, then it will not allow for Manually Manage Music. That does not appear in iTunes any longer. Besides, Manually Manage Music is not syncing. If you have cancelled your subscription, as the other poster said, you need to turn off iCloud Music Library as well to be able to access sync again.
