I'm on a new macbook with OS X El Capitan 10.11.4.
The Quicktime app no longer has audio on fast forward, which is really inconvenient. I rely on the sound to know when to go back to real time or to know when a noisy patch has ended.
My question is, which Quicktime can I install on this mac which still has audio on fast forward.
I have tried Quicktime 7.6.6 for Snow Leopard, as I saw as a solution to someone else looking for a similar problem, but the fast forward does not seem to work at all on my new system.
I hope someone can either give me a link to a download or suggest another programme which I can run videos and FF through them with video and audio.
