If this is a free app why does it ask for the 3 digit numbers on the back of credit card?
Hi, the app may not be free. But if it is, Apple is just trying to make sure your payment methods are up to date.
There is no price on it but if you wanted the Pro version there was a price to it. Th numbers needed was 3 digits on the "security code" for this credit card.
It is because all items are consider purchases and you cannot purchase anything without a credit card number. In this, it's a free purchase. Nothing will be put through on your credit card but you will get a receipt for $0.00.
Apple will not charge you for free app but Apple still need to know your credentials.
