Q: Windows 10 (bootcamp) won't boot after SMC/NVRAM reset on Mac.
Blue screen appears every time I try to start up windows 10 on my mac. I think it's because of SMC and NVRAM reset I've done lately. Blue screen contain message like this:
"the boot configuration data file is missing some required information.
file:\BCD
error code: 0xc0000034"
When I try to enter recovery options - nothing happens. The blue screen even doesn't contain text about F8 command to enter recovery or enter command to reboot.
With installation media (same usb stick that I used to install win10) the same blue screen appears no matter what I choose : EFI Boot, Windows both from USB stick or from bootcamp drive. But now blue screen allows F8 and enter command but when I try them the screen just blinks and turn me back to the blue screen. I can't access recovery options.
In addition I should say that first time I tried to boot windows lately there was a message that windows can't start properly and it allows me to try automatic startup repair - but it won't help me. I didn't know what to do next so I reboot to MAC to google it up but after this first time only blue screen with error code appears when I try to start windows.
Could you, guys, please, help me?
