Q: iMessage Help

I cannot seem to view/download any picture sent via iMessage on my Mac (OS X El Capitan). I have deleted the attachments file within the iMessage file with no luck. I have noticed that there are hundreds of file transfers that I continue to clear and they show back up again (Messages>Window>File Transfers).

Any help with this would be appreciated!

Here is what I see in iMessage on my Mac after sending myself an image from my iPhone...http://imgur.com/dV0j4qq

    Hello flag8r77.

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I see from your post you aren't able to see pictures sent via iMessage on your Mac running OS X 10.11 El Capitan.

Let's restart your Mac first. Then launch the Messages app while holding the Shift key on the left hand side of your Mac's keyboard. This will remove the saved app state on the Messages app.

If the issue persist, then follow the steps on this Apple knowledge base article to isolate the issue and attempt to resolve it.
