I cannot load my pictures on my imac, not with a usb cable or icloud. I'm so frustrated after trying for days without being able to reach apple in any way.
Can someone tell me how to get my pictures of an iphone 6 to imac without icloud since that tool doens't do its job.

Ok maybe my frustration post wasn't clear. I'm an apple user for decades and know how these things work. The problem is that iCloud doesn't do it's job. Only half of my pictures got uploaded in icloud and than in iphoto. Since nothing helped to fix it, I switched of icloud in order to use the classic usb cable. But, not like in earlier days, my iphone doesn't appear on my mac anywhere. Back to switching on icloud, problem got worse. Now I have half of my pictures plus back all pictures once deleted...
