If you can run Disk Utility on the SSD, you could try to clone it to a different drive with more storage.
If the clone is working well, try to boot into the recovery partition on Mac (OS X: About OS X Recovery - Apple Support) and erase the drive and reinstall OS X. Restore your user account data from the clone.
