I use iTunes match or iCloud, or whatever it's called in order to have access to my music on my iMac, MacBook and iPhone 6S. I download a lot of songs from the cloud onto my iPhone so I can listen to them when I dont have service, which surprisingly, yes, is a scenario that exists. This morning I went on a 6 mile hike and had PURCHASED NUMEROUS SONGS/ALBUMS FROM iTUNES the night before. So I get to my hike, no service (which is possible, actually the case when you're out in nature) aaaaaaaaand NONE of my songs are on my phone. I checked my storage and it had dropped from 44 GB free to 57 GB meaning 13 GB were gone.
This is one of numerous frustrations I've had with this software in the past 5 years or so. Each update is a worse version than before.
