Q: Purchased songs not showing on iPhone

I have past purchases that are not visible on my iPhone.

I have followed the steps on this page: Download your past purchases - Apple Support. I have restarted phone.

If I go to the album in question in iTunes Store, Kidz Bop Party Hits (don't judge), it shows as purchased, with no option to download ) i.e. no cloud/arrow icon.

If I go into my phone Store>Other>Music>Purchased>NotOnThisiPhone, the artist/album is not there. There are other artists that have disappeared from my phone and its playlists as well, but this is the most obvious and easiest to track down.

A little help please?

    Hello ainuke,

I understand wanting to listen to the whole album that you purchased. I would suggest transferring your purchases to a computer in iTunes and then syncing your Music back to your iPhone.

This article has the steps to transfer your purchases to iTunes on your computer:

Redownload or transfer your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer

Once the purchases have been transferred then sync the music to your iPhone using the steps in this article:

Sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer using USB

    Best Regards

Thank you for your response, Starr.

I prefer not to sync them to my phone, as I use iCloud Music Library to listen and keep the storage for photos, etc. Also, I regularly browse through my library for something interesting to listen to, and the problem songs are not there. At this point, I don't know which ones I'm missing (aside from the aforementioned Kidz Bop).

What you're suggesting sounds more like a workaround, where I'm looking for a solution. The songs are showing as purchased in the iTunes Store, but they are not listed in my library. I want to change that behavior. If I need to submit a support ticket, I'm happy to, as it seems there may need to be some reset from Apple's end.

(PS - I've tried disabling/enabling iCloud Music Library).

    Thank you,

    Erik
