Q: How to make slide objects animate with single click?
Using Keynote 6.6.2
I have a presentation that I produced a few months ago. Each slide has multiple objects that animate, and each slide has an assigned transition effect. When I play the presentation, I must click once for each animation for every object, instead of the slide building automatically. In addition, the presentation will not transition between slides with effects (I chose timed dissolves) if I manually forward through them, the new slides just appear with no transition effect.
I can't use automatic transitions because the App's time limit is 60 seconds, and I need some slides to display longer. When I created the presentation, I could advance slides by clicking forward once per slide with my Apple Remote, and all the internal animations ran automatically (i.e., the presenter would manually transition to the next slide with a single click, and the slide's fade-ins, dissolves, object moves would complete according to their programmed times, and pause until the next slide load), but now if I set document transition to Normal, I must look at the screen and click to launch each slide's object effects one at a time. What happened? Can't you manually advance a slideshow with automatic effects any more? And isn't a manual slide advance still supposed to trigger the transition effect with the set transition time? TIA.
