Q: On our mac mini 400 bad request?

OUr old mac mini still functions great, but recently we could not install the updates for os 10. We are at os 10.5 still. We can get onto some internet sites some of the time, but not others. This happens on all brousers, so it must be the computer, right?

No. OSX 10.5 and even 10.6 and 10.7 and 10.8are no longer being updated and all browsers compatible with those OSX version are also no longer bine updated and the available browsers contain security problems and many sites do not work with them.

What model Mac Mini do you have?

The old one that use the Power PC G4 processor can only go to OSX 10.5.8

The later ones with Intel processors can go as follows:

    2006 to 10.6.8

    2007 to 10.7.5

The 2009 and later can go to the latest, El Capitan, with at least 2 GB of RAM but it is slow with that little RAM
