Q: DRM Music on my Edge7

Hi!

I've used iTunes and various forms of iPods for years now.  But now that I have a new Edge7 phone (Android) I would like to move all my iTunes library over to my phone.  It's all working fine except for the 300 songs i bought back when purchases still had DRM.  I've looked the Apple music (9.99 a month, no thanks) and Apple match (more reasonable at $24 a year).  But is there a better way?  Can I just do a 1-time payment to remove the DRM off these songs?  The only other option i can think of would be to burn to disk and re-rip?

Apple discontinued to one time payment upgrade option several years ago. Now the only way to do it is with a one year Match subscription.

You could burn and rip but you will lose quality that way (up to you if it makes a difference).  To me for 300 songs it would be worth Match for a year.

Apple Music would give you access to the songs but I don't think it would let you download a DRM-free copy of the tracks.
