i've watched today's keynote and was really impressed by the new watchOS.
now that i consider buying one, i was wondering if there are apple watches
i could wear on my right wrist since i'm left handed. therefore i don't like
my watch toggle around when i'm drawing/ working in my studio.

Apple Watch can be worn on either wrist, with orientation settings to suit. (Apple does not offer separate models for left / right-handed wear).

Thanks for your fast reply. So the software can handle me wearing the watch on the right arm, but the buttons would still be on the "wrong" side - or would i need to turn the watch around? Even that doesn't sound too great since the crown would be underneath the other button which seems weird to me.

The watch can be worn with the buttons on whichever side you prefer.
