Q: Phone Says "No Service" Then cycles up to 1x 3g then LTE

Hello,

I have had this problem for a few weeks now. I will be sitting in one spot and my iPhone 6 16gb Space Gray will suddenly lose network connection. It will say "No Service" and then cycle up from there to 1x then 3g then LTE. There aren't any known network issues in my area and it happens anywhere. My software is up to date and this happens on any iPhone I try I've tried a different sim card. Has anyone else experienced this issue with the latest OS?

In my experience if it happens everywhere then it is a phone issue. I had it happen 15 miles apart in good coverage areas so network is very unlikely.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

    Greetings rodneyfromkewaunee!

A reliable network connection is something that's very important so that you can use your phone.  You've gone through some great troubleshooting steps already with isolating the issue and thank you for using the Apple Support Communities.

Since there are a lot of things that could come into play with this issue, what we'd need to do is go through this article one step at a time and then test it out after each one to see which one fixes it: If you can‘t connect to a cellular network or cellular data

    Make it a great day!

    Cheers!

My apologies for a incomplete list of troubleshooting steps. I have reset network settings already. I had the areas that I experienced this issue looked into by a team of professionals at the network level. My phone is up to date. This has been duplicated on other phones in different areas and seems intermittent at best. I was curious if anyone else has experienced this with the most recent OS or if it was just a handful.

    Hey Rodney,

Are you on Verizon?  I've been experiencing this same issue over the last two days.  Yesterday, I was even getting the "No Sim Card" message.  Today, it will randomly drop service and the "No Service" indicator shows.  If if flip Airplane Mode on and off, I regain service.
