Q: Need help deleting a request to track my location on my Mac
After visiting the website of a company to learn about their product, I suddenly received a boxed ad requesting permission to "track my location". After a little research I found a reference to a similar request from Apple, describing how its Location Services use diagnostic and usage data to improve service, as well as directions for opting out. Although I followed the instructions when I reached the designated site, the company named as the sender of the request was not listed.
The only option in the ad is a box to give permission to use the data for one day. I have no interest in giving them permission to use my data for any reason, but am unable to delete the ad. In fact efforts to delete it manually just produce additional copies of the ad.
Any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Safari I assume?
Safari -> Preferences -> Privacy: Set 'Location Services' to 'Deny without prompting'
If the window still appears or you can not get past the notification to access preferences then treat it as a popup scam: Quit and relaunch while holding the 'shift' key for a clean start without any previously active webpages automatically reopening.
