I am using Photos 1.0.1, on OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite). For some reason, in the "Photos" view of the Photos program, there have been no new "moments" created since mid-March, even though I have imported a bunch of pictures taken since then. The photos can be viewed, for example, under "Albums" "All Photos" but they don't appear in the "Photos view" because there have been no new "moments" created under which they would be filed. Can someone help?
To test LarryHN's suspicion, that the data and time in the camera have been set incorrectly, select one of the photos you are seeing in the All Photos album, but not in the Moments. Ctrl-click it or right-click, then select "Show in Moment" from the pop-up menu. If the photo shoild be in a wrong moment you should be seeing it this way.
Sometimes photos are appearing to be missing from the Moments, simply because the Photos Preference > Summarize Photos has been enabled. Then quite a few few photos might be omitted from the moments and collections.
If the photos cannot be revealed by "Show in Moment", repair your Photos Library. That has frequently helped to fix the "Missing in Moments" problem. But don't repair without having a current backup of your Photos Library. If you are using iCloud Photo Library, repairing will cause the library to upload again to iCloud. This cannot be avoided. https://help.apple.com/photos/mac/1.0/?lang=en#/pht6be18f93
