Hi! Thank you for your suggestion.
But sadly it didn't work. When i turned imessage back on when I had changed the simcard back, it stays "waiting for activation". Even under Send & Receive, my phone number was not even detected. The only thing stated there was my email address and the phone number of Simcard 2 + the thing just keeps on loading to that number but it could not complete its activation because it is not the simcard number inserted.
Hope I was not confusing 😕
If you are seeing that "waiting for activation" it is because it is not completing the activation process. The phone number will not be detected until the activation process is complete. You need to make sure this local SIM you are using allows for the international SMS necessary for activation. If it doesn't, then it will not activate. You will not see the number listed until activation is complete. This is what can happen when you change SIM cards, and the carrier you change to is not supported. You need to contact this carrier to see if they support iMessage and if they are blocking the activation SMS.
