Jun 14, 2016 10:42 AM in response to Ralphie2449by Skydiver119,Maybe. When you plug your iPhone into your computer you computer can see the digital photo storage on it as a run of the mill digital camera. Meaning anything stored in the camera roll folder your computer thinks are photos shot by a camera. You can use windows explorer to navigate to the iPhone, DCIM and then that section of folders. you would then drag those folders onto your computer desktop (there may be many of them, personally I go for the carpet bomb approach...drag everything and sort it out later)
See if you can save anything that way.
A Tedious but works way could be to mail or upload those photos somewhere then download them onto your computer. Flickr for example, or Dropbox or other service can serve as temporary storage and transfer point for your photos.

Jun 14, 2016 10:46 AM in response to Skydiver119by Ralphie2449,Yeah, all images in my camera roll or that i saved from the web can be accessed by connected the ipad to the computer and getting in those camera roll DCIM folders.
But there is no sigh of the pictures i have synced using the Itunes photo sync option.
I think uploading them en mass would be a possibility even thought it lltake ages since it is 2000+ photos, but wont their quality be reduced since everytime i upload images from ipad they are uploaded as image.jpg and their quality is reduced, i assume to make the uploading faster

Jun 14, 2016 10:48 AM in response to Ralphie2449by Demo,You can use third party WiFi transfer apps in order to move synced photos back to your computer. Synced photos, should not appear in the camera roll album itself. Camera Roll contains photos that you shoot with the device, screenshots, photos saved as attachments from emails and websites.
I Use this app, but there are others in the App Store.

Jun 14, 2016 10:54 AM in response to Ralphie2449by ShagCA,There may be some third party software you can try. I'm not going to mention it because I never have the need to use it. Btw, the photos in your iPad have all been "optimized" and are normally smaller (size) than the originals (on PC hard disk). It's too late to say now but it's extremely important to have a backup unless you don't really care about losing your data.

Try it this way. On the Albums that you have synced with iTunes from your computer, open an Album, click on Select, click on Select All, on the upper left there should be a Box with an Arrow, click it and then click on Duplicate. This should put copies of the photos into your Camera Roll. Now try importing those copies to your computer and see if it lets you. Follow the steps below or simply copy them (but importing is better).
Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
Edit: If you are able to do this, first create a backup on an external drive, then do a new sync from your computer with no photos selected. This will erase the photos from your iPad. You can then resync what you want again. Good luck.
