Q: New contacts going to Whatsapp contacts

I'm with a problem: when I create a new contact in Contacts application in my Mac Mini, this contact appears only in Whatsapp contacts, but not in my iPhone Contacts. Why is this happening. I cannot figure out how to solve this. I think iCloud is syncing to the wrong Contact application in my iPhone. Any help?

Welcome Sergio,

From what I can gather, all contacts that are created on your Mac are only appearing in WhatsApp on your iPhone and not in the Contacts application.

I found this article that is a great first step in getting this resolved: Get help using iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders - Apple Support

This will give you steps in the OS X and iOS section of the article.

Make sure you have the correct account selected in Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Contacts>Default Account.
