Q: How to contact Apple support agent from Afghanistan

Hello guys,

I can easily access my apple account with my user and password, but cant make my first purchase from the app store, as it requires answers to security questions. I have not set rescue email and have explored all possible ways. So, the only thing that might solve my problem is to contact apple team by telephone. There is no apple support for Afghanistan and i want to contact apple in India, Pakistan or anywhere else to get the help. I have tried for the last one week and almost disappointed. Can someone help me how to contact apple from Afghanistan. All those contact numbers provided for other countries does not work unless you are inside that particular country. I am in Afghanistan and want to talk to an apple support agent by telephone?

Appreciate your support and help. Please do help me if you can. I am very tired to get this thing resolved.

hugs,

Jawad

    Hi Jawad,

I understand that you need to contact Apple Support so you can get help with your Apple ID, but because you are in Afghanistan you can't reach out to them. If I were in your situation, I would be annoyed as well. I've looked around and I haven't found any support options as well, however I did get a chance to speak with Apple Support and a representative suggested that you could contact them through live chat. If you'd like to contact them, please visit this website: https://support.apple.com/.

I hope this helps you Jawad, and hopefully you'll be able to get back your Apple ID account.

Apple does not offer support in your country.

Live chat as was suggested earlier may be the best route.

That is the thing that unfortunately i can not contact apple security team here in AFG. Do you have the link for the live chat? i looked around for more than a hour, but couldn't find that.

    Hey Jawad,

I've tried reaching out to Apple again for any suggestions they might have for you to contact Apple. Unfortunately, like what other users have been saying Apple does not offer support for your region. I know how frustrating and very inconvenient this situation can be. I can truly imagine what it may be like. I know you said you've tried calling Apple support in nearby countries, like India - but if I'm correct, you said you had to call while you were in the country. Maybe you could try making an international call? If you have any friends, or relatives in a nearby country, like India perhaps they can call Apple for you. If you're still not able to recover your account, you could create a new Apple ID and start fresh. While I know that is also inconvenient, and doens't necessarily help in your case, but rather causes more chaos I think it won't necessarily hurt either to try and create a new account.

I hope this helps you, and if I find any more information I'll be sure to keep you posted.

    Hi again Jawad,

I know how important your Apple ID, so I can definitely understand why you need to reach out to Apple Support to get help. I happened to be browsing around the forums when I saw another user on here sharing a link where you can contact the iTunes Store for support. While I know that you need to get your Apple ID recovered, this might be the first way you can contact Apple. To see the link, please visit here: https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html.

If you don't have any luck with the link, or you'd like another way to reach Apple you can try reaching out to Apple Support through Twitter. Their official Twitter support page is here: https://twitter.com/applesupport.

I truly do hope you can get this resolved Jawad. If I find out anything else, I'll be sure to keep you updated if I can.
