No sharing for matched library?

You can't use iTunes Match with family share but you could share music from Apple Music if you subscribed. As Apple Music now uses the iTunes Match algorithm and has removed DRM from your own music, I suspect that you will not be able to share that content. I have not read anything about this nor has Apple support documents been updated yet.

Maybe someone else on this forum who has Apple Music and family sharing has noticed any change in behaviour.

Is there another way to share the same iTunes library with another user on the same computer (iMac). And would there be any usability issues with doing that?

Not with iTunes Match. You can only use one Apple ID.
