Burn BluRay FCPX Troubles

FCPX 10.2.3

OS X El Capitan 10.11.5

I'm attempting to burn to bluray directly from FCPX. It gets to 66% and then stops. Create Disc pops up in my tool bar but it turns to "not responding" immediately after. I've tried a few of the troubleshooting techniques (restarting FCPX, restarting computer, burn a different project, render all media, add a logo and remove in the settings, etc) but it won't get past the 66% and create disk stalls. Normally it eventually kicks through after trying one of the myriad of random options but I'm on my 20th burn and no luck.

I do not have compressor, I'm hoping to find someone that has a little insight on how they've fixed this on their end.

Thanks for your time and help.

Hi All, Hi wemhoffs1,

I personally never managed to burn a DVD or a Blu-Ray properly directly out of FCPX!

And it become a real nightmare when you want to share a 5.1 surround project.

Yet, I found a solution that now works every time for me.
I made a tutorial about it, please have a look at How To - Burn a 5.1 Surround Blu-ray Disc with FCPX - NO FAILURE - YouTube

and let me know if it worked for you.

Best

Sylvain
