iPod Nano 7th Gen on a restart loop after syncing

How do I fix my iPod Nano 7th Gen from going into a restart loop after syncing?

Now, I haven't used my ipod in a few months so when I connected to iTunes on my Windows 10, I updated the software to 1.0.4, and proceeded to sync my music. I ejected it and it went on a restart loop. It still gets recognized by iTunes and all, so I restored it. I noticed that if I don't sync my music at all and eject it, no restart loop happens. But the moment I sync and eject, it enters the restart loop. This is about the 7th time I've restored my ipod.

I guess another tidbit, I tried only syncing one of my albums, and no restart loop happens. So I'm really not sure if it's just the sheer amount of music I have to sync, the update or what....

Please help 😟 I've barely used it and this makes me so sad.

Howdy j9md,

I understand that, after updating and syncing the desired content, your iPod nano proceeds to constantly restart itself. Since you've verified that only syncing one album doesn't cause the device to restart, there may be some content being synced that's causing your iPod nano's instability.

To identify the source of the restarts, try syncing each album from the full group that you originally synced to identify the album that's causing this behavior. Once you identify the trouble album, try each song to identify the track.

Once you've either identified a song that's causing this behavior, or are able to sync each album individually, let us know and we can go from there!

Regards!
