Q: will all features be available as .epub on any non-apple device?

Will all features used with iBooks author be available as .epub on any non-apple device?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.0.1

I don't think there is any way to be sure about that without testing.  For Kindle, for example, you need to convert epub to their own format.  You might check the Kindle forums to see if others have commented on problems they encountered.
