I have a ipad2 a customer brought to me to remove from icloud account but have no knowledge of id or password need help to remove it from icloud,

Unfortunately there's nothing you, or anyone else for that matter, can do with the device. The device is Activation Lock(ed) -- Find My iPhone Activation Lock - Apple Support
