Q: You are almost out of battery, but really at 40%
Hi,
Have this reoccurring problem (bug?) with my iPhone 6s, model MGAj2QN/A, 64GB, with over 16GB free, running IOS 9.3.2 (13F69).
When the battery level hits somewhere between 25-40% according to the indicator in the top right corner i get a warning shouting out that i only have 1-8% of the battery left and the phone wants to start power savings - the indicator in an instance changes to the percentage it has warned at.
As soon at i start charging the phone, but after the screen has shut off (the phone is on, the screen shuts down after 30s) the original battery level is indicated again.
So, basically within seconds i can go from 40% - 1% - 40% with as little as connecting a lightning cable to the phone and pressing the power button on the right hand side twice.
What would happen if i didn't connect the cable - nothing, the battery indicator remains at said % and i would guess it would power off, haven't had the possibility to test that out yet - im usually still at work when it happens and cant really be unreachable.
If i restart the phone (hold power button, swipe to turn off, wait, and then start it) the phone will also show correct%.
Sorry for the English, not my native tongue.
And, yes, iPhone hardware may not be the appropriate part of the forum, but couldn't really put this under iOS - Photo right
