Chinese option does not appear in keyboard preferences

Hi,

I was trying to add pinyin as one input method. But when I go to keyboard preferences and click + the options does not include Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese etc. I already have language preferences chosen as Chinese, Simplified/Traditional etc. I have attached screenshots for your reference.

Thanks

create a new user, boot into that new account and see if the keyboard is shown.

if so it's possible you have a corrupt preference in the current user account which may need to be deleted but that should not be considered until it's established the new user procedure shows the missing options.

Mine is a corporate Mac...any other way to have it resolved please?

Ask your corporate IT folks to fix it?

Reinstall the OS completely?

You could try moving Home/Library/Preferences to your desktop and restarting. To get to Home/Library you need to hold down the option key while doing Finder > Go.
