I have 2 systems in my studio that have all stopped playing back quicktimes (any format or codec) - they freeze, studder, then do nothing. I cannot preview, or open the file and playback anything.
Both systems are new mac pros (Late 2013) 3.0 GHz, 8-Core systems with 32/64GB of RAM with D700s - both running 10.10.5
Here are some steps I've taken so far:
-check/apply all updates for Yosemite
-Verify/Repair disk permissions
