Q: I forgot my password for my iphone backup so i can restore my iphone

My iphone lost the server so ithought that itunes could help so i backed up my iphone. had to go to ATT get my sim unlocked and now i want to restore phone . but i forgot my backup password.

If you cannot remember the iTunes backup password, your only alternative is to delete the backup, and restore the phone. You will not be able to use the backup so you will need to delete it. You will not be able to create a backup of the device, since it will not allow you to turn off the Encryption for the backup, so the device has to be restored to factory.
