Q: Viewing jpg images with iCloud Drive

I have a folder on my iCloud drive containing jpg images

How can I view these images in a method similar to swiping photos on the photos app

All I can do now is open one image at a time and then I have to go back to the folder to select another one

I do not want to put these images in the OS X photos app and sync them across to my iPad

Any help would be greatly appreciated

iPad Mini, iOS 9.1

Have you tried selecting all of the images you want to view and then double-clicking to open Preview? They should all load into Preview, and then you can swipe to the right to view them or if you have the sidebar open, you can view them in any order you wish by selecting them.

Well, you posted in the Mac OS & System Software/El Capitan forum, and indicated you didn't want to use OS photos, so you can see why I would have been confused.

I do not know of any way that you can view .jpg images like photos on an iOS device except via the iOS Photos app.

Are you not able to select them and use a share button to add them to your Camera Roll?

    Cheers,

I just tried it, and there is no Share button for iCloud Drive items on an iOS device. So, my advice would be to upload them to your Photos app on your Mac, and share them via iCloud Photo Sharing, if you don't want to sync them via iTunes.

    Best of luck,
