Phishing Scam, text message. AppleUK Be wary!

I received a text message today saying that it was from AppleUK, I phoned support to check up on it as it made my 'scam' senses tingle. Turns out to be a very authentic looking phishing scam! Don't fall for it, if you receive a text like the one pictured below don't click on the link! Apple will only ever e-mail you (support confirmed this) to tell you about issues with your account. If you get a message like this, with a link that looks similar to the one in the below image, take a screenshot and forward it to abuse@icloud.com (it's their fraud detection email) or call support to check.

Yes this is a common attack these days, and I have seen both emails as well as the text message attempts to gain my information. Glad you didn't fall for this
