Q: iTunes Store prompting old Apple ID

Today I have switched from a new device, restoring the previous backup from local iTunes.

While restoring the apps, I have been prompted several times for an old Apple ID I no longer use for almost 1 year. I have read several threads about the same issue, I have followed the steps in Apple Support article What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support. But the fact that the iPhone is the only device which prompts, and that all services including iCloud are using the correct Apple ID and I only recalled it happening before while pairing the Watch, which was solved with the article above, I was wondering, how to know which apps in the iPhone are still asking for old credentials?

I'm referring to old apps because I have double checked that all services are using the current one, I have signed out and in again from all services just in case and it keeps happening, so that could be that old apps remain with old credentials?

Perhaps a known iOS for iPhone issue?

Suggestions and feedback are welcome

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.2

No it isn't a known IOS issue, Apps have always been tied to the apple id and password that was used to download/purchase it.

Doesn't matter how many times you sign out and sign back in, it will still ask for the old apple id for the apps you installed under it.

Delete the apps and reinstall with your new apple id.

    That I will do, thanks!

I wonder why I haven't seen this before in other threads?

I have checked the FAQ but I don't see where apps are tied to the original Apple ID instead of the current one if the account is properly set in iTunes, AppleID portal and etc, but anyway good to know.
