Deep sleep after drive replacement El Capitan

I had a free replacement 3TB Fusion HDD (recall) done by Apple - now at times when the computer goes to sleep it takes super long to wake back up and the magic trackpad is even slower - like a minute or more. Accompanied by this lag, I've seen pure black Safari windows come up - but they ultimately go from black to resolve to a regular window. It's just very strange and not how it was before... it used to wake from sleep quickly and responsively.

I've changed my Energy Saver from 15 minutes to 1 Hour - to help avoid this - "Put HDDs to sleep when possible" has always been checked.

Ideas?

Hi there igirl1,

I understand that you have had your iMac repaired, but are seeing some issues with expected behavior when waking from sleep. I have an article for you with some steps you may wish to try in order to address this behavior:

If your Mac doesn't sleep or wake when expected - Apple Support

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204760

If these steps don’t affect the issue in the way you would expect, you may wish to contact the service provider who completed the repair to discuss the behavior changes you are seeing. Take care, and thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities.
