    Hello there jacquelinefrombburg,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! This is a great place to get help with issues connecting to the App Store and accessing other apps on your iPad. I know that there are certain apps that I rely on daily, so I will do everything I can to help you find a solution.

As a starting point, let's have you force close all the open apps on your iPad. After you've done that, go ahead and restart your iPad. Once it's back up and running, test out the App Store to see if you're able to access it. Here are a couple of helpful resources to walk you through the process described above:

Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If you're still running into issues, check out the steps in this article. Even though the title says iTunes Store, the recommendations would still apply to the App Store.

If you can’t connect to the iTunes Store

As an isolation step, it would be a good idea to test if you have issues with the App Store and other apps while using both Wi-Fi and cellular. If the issue persists with both connection types, try to reset the network settings on your iPad. Please note that will erase any stored Wi-Fi networks and passwords. To complete this step, go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. After your iPad restarts, test the apps again.

    Take care!
