Q: Ipod Nano 4th generation forced to be formatted

Hello

Every time that I connect my Ipod to mu desktop PC with Windows 10, the system says that the device needs to be formatted, and also iTunes says that the device is damaged so suggest to restore, I apply restore from iTunes but after it ends the suggestion about restore appears again. I tried formatting the device, but regardless of that after iTunes completes the restore Windows says again that the device needs to be formatted and iTunes claims again for a restore, yes... the loop.

The weird part of this is that I connected my iPod to a laptop where i also have iTunes and a few songs, and the only thing that happened is that iTunes asked for a restore that was completed succesfully, in fact now my iPod have a few songs on it and plays them without problems, but when i connect it again to my main computer i'm still being asked to format the device and to restore it.

I believed that my iPod was dead, but as you can see the device is recognized in my laptop, so I need to know what to do in order my PC doesn't want to format my iPod. Also I updated iTunes to 12.4 without results.

Best Regards

iPod nano, Windows 10
