Q: New Contact
Dear Guys,
Good Day,
I've added a new numbers but it doesn't show up in my contact list, even if I typed the name in the search box, but when I dialed the number manually, the contact's name appears and I can see it in viber or whatsapp contacts. I tried everything, like rebooting my phone, I edited the name or shortened it in viber and added the country code. ex. +974, , etc.. but it did not solve the problem. I didn't notice this, only when I added a new contact recently.
I'm hoping for your immediate response regarding this.

Hello roniyo!
Definitely want your newly added contacts to show properly when you are searching for them. Good steps tried so far! We'll check a few things.
If you're using iCloud for contacts, by going to iCloud.com and signing in, see if the new contacts appear on iCloud. This resource may be helpful: Get help using iCloud Contacts, Calendars, or Reminders - Apple Support
Check Settings > Mail Contacts Calendars, scroll down to the Contacts section and see what's listed as your default account. This would be the account where new contacts should be saving to. After checking that, go to the Phone app, tap on Contacts in the middle and then Groups at the top left. Make sure all the default account has a check mark next to it, along with any other contact groups you want.
Once those are all checked, see if the new contacts show when typing them. If not, also check Settings > General > Spotlight Search and make sure Contacts is on (green) in that menu, too.
Hopefully that helps. If not, reply back with what accounts you use to save and sync your contacts.
Cheers!
